In the middle of the Ardèche Gorges lies the " Grotte de la Madeleine" given a 3 Star Rating by The Michelin Guide. The Grotte is situated in a place of outstanding natural beauty which includes stunning views of the Gorges, walks,and an abundance of wildlife indiginous to the region.

The grotte itself was opened on 10th August 1969 and is one of the most outstanding in France.

Formed by subterranean water and overlooking one of the most beautiful views in the Ardèche Gorges "The belvedère de la Madeleine".

The tour of The Grotte includes experienced guides, a renowned "Son et Lumière", refreshments and museum.

The Grotte de la Madeleine is situated 7Km from St Remèze in the centre of the famous scenic route overlooking The Gorges between Vallon Pont d’Arc and St Martin d’Ardèche.
